Awesome customer and our good friends at Barry University are continuing their post Hurricane Irma repairs and lighting upgrades with buddy buying LED’s.

Al and Ryan at Barry are utilizing 80w and 100w corn lamps to upgrade their outdoor lighting around campus. Saving money on exterior lighting is a nice bonus ($2,600 a year, but who’s counting?), but the most important thing is the safety of all students and staff at all times of day or night.

Buddy buying LED’s ensure these lights will reliably burn for about 12 years without having to be replaced. The 50,000 hour lifetime lets Al and Ryan focus on so many other tasks that need their attention around campus. A list that never seems to get shorter, until now.

Changing old lights feels like a never-ending job. It seems as quickly as you change one old incandescent or metal halide light, two more have burnt out. If anything does happen to a buddy buying LED, do not worry at all. Buddy buying corn lamps come with a 5 years warranty. If the light fails, you get a new one, immediately. The warranty is a nice touch, but we bet you will never have to use this and that is something that makes all of us happy.
